International 10th Degree Black Belt

Grand Master Christopher Nasilowski was born in Poland, in the year 1951, and he first started to train in the martial arts in 1967, and this was in the city of Szcztno where he first commenced his study of Combat Judo.

GM Chris Nasilowski KickingHe did for a couple of years, and it was during this time there that he really learned how to unbalance and throw an opponent to the ground. And this is also where he got his first taste of basic grappling skills and techniques while ground fighting.

GM Chris had trained in Shotokan Karate and Boxing, but his greatest fascination was with the Korean art of Taekwondo, an art that he started to learn when he moved to Australia from his native country of birth.

He began training at the Rhee Taekwondo Academy in Adelaide of South Australia, and this was back in the early 1970's when he was just 21 years of age.

This was the tough era of martial arts when earning a black belt meant that you had to perform the difficult breaking techniques such as punching one solid brick, and breaking three 1 inch wooden boards with the ball of your foot using turning kick technique, then after this he had to do a flying side kick over some 8 men crouching down on to the ground, and break 5x1 inch thick boards at the other end being held by three strong assistants.

GM Chris stayed at that Rhee Taekwondo Academy for a period of 12 years, and in this time he achieved the 2nd Degree Black Belt, he also earned the title of being named as an assistant instructor at that Dojang too.

In 1984 GM Chris felt that it was time for him to open up his own martial arts school, and to also try some other styles of martial arts as well, so he went on to establish his martial arts school, and he decided to call the academy-'MILLENNIUM SCHOOL OF MARTIAL ARTS INTERNATIONAL'.

In 1988, GM Chris met Supreme Grand Master Cacoy Canete through his friend and long time training partner, Grand Master Vince Palumbo, and it was at this time that GM Chris began training in the Filipino Martial Arts, which has helped to broaden his horizon as a quality martial arts instructor in South Australia.

Since the beginning of his martial arts training way back in 1967, GM Chris has achieved the black belt rankings in Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do, Eskrima, and in the Filipino martial art of 'Cacoy Pangamot Filipino Jiu Jitsu'.

He got voted as the Director status to Kalaki Arcanis Arnis World Association, when the the founder of the system, GM Sioux Glaryaga became very ill and was unable to continue teaching his students around the globe.

In 1996, Master Vince Palumbo travelled to Poland, to give some seminars and workshops so as to teach more than 500 students the elementary basics of the Filipino stickfighting techniques, and this was the very first time that the martial artists in Poland had ever seen the Filipino Martial Arts, so this art is quite popular there now, especially after GM Vince made this tour of Poland.

Then GM Chris went to Poland in 1999 to establish the Polish Kalaki Arcanis Arnis Association of which he's the original founder and chairman, and now he has many students practicing his style in the city of Warsaw!

GM Chris has trained and taught his form of martial arts in Poland, Slovakia, Germany, USA, Philippines, Malaysia, Great Britain, Czech Republic, and also here in his home country of Australia.

In 1992, he entered the WEKAF World Invitational Full Contact Stickfighting Championships which were held in Cebu City of the Philippines, and he won the Gold Medal for the over 40 y.o. Division in the under 75kg category.

GM Christopher Nasilowski has established International branch clubs for his own organisation 'MILLENNIUM SCHOOL OF MARTIAL ARTS INTERNATIONAL'.

Now he concentrates on teaching the arts of Korean Taekwondo and Karate, Filipino Stickfighting, Jujitsu, Kickboxing and Grappling to all of his students.

GM Chris Nasilowski has trained with many top martial artists over the years-

GM Chong Chul Rhee, GM Choon Bong Lee, GM Park Jong Man, and he's met and trained with Tang Soo Do founder, GM Hwang Kee, he has trained with Supreme Grand Master Cacoy Canete, GM Brian Dossett, GM Bill Vaughan, and he has trained with O'Sensei Phil Porter.

Grand Master Christopher Nasilowski is considered as a real icon in the city of Adelaide in South Australia, and he is aso an excellent International Referee at the World Stickfighting Championships held in the Philippines every 2 years.
